Newbie Artist Training Grounds Day 10: Draw a pony making a decision/Draw a pony waffling.
Another rough attempt at landscape speedpainting. I'm still not quite sure how to approach trees in a style that I like since I'm trying to veer away from the time-intensive photorealistic look.
Doesn't help that today a 1 hour trip to the mechanic ended up taking 8.5 hours.
Anyway! Since this is so rough, the reference might not be readily apparent. My pretentious as fuck hope was to draw Applejack in a scene inspired by The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, but... well, one day, I might be able to do something that legendary some semblance of justice.
Though, really, probably not.

The first path is a little hard to notice because Applejack is just in front of it. Apart from that I think it's quite a good painting, specially the trees were going out nicely.
